Club competition finals are to be played in club colours; all earlier rounds can be played in any appropriate bowls clothing.

Submitting Results

Results should be submitted to Steve Ford, preferably via WhatsApp (07773 819812), or via Text Message, or via email (rbcgreenranger@gmail.com)

Formats

All singles competitions, with the exception of the 7 Up, are the first to 21 shots.

All Pairs competitions are 18 ends unless otherwise agreed by all competitors in the relevant match.

The 7 Up is best of three sets, first to 7 shots in each set.

(NB. ditch markers can be attached to the scoreboard to indicate sets won to supporters)

For the Handicap Singles, players handicaps are shown in brackets on the draw.

The player with lowest handicap starts on 0

The player with highest handicap starts on the difference between handicaps

e.g. Player A has a handicap of 5 and Player B has a handicap of 2

Player B starts on 0 and Player A starts on 5-2 =3

Play by dates

Play by dates are specific for each competition, please refer to the relevant draw for details.

All competitors are responsible for arranging matches to be completed by the relevant play by date.

Extensions will only be granted in exceptional circumstances and require an agreed play on date to be submitted by competitors.

Requests for extensions must be submitted to a member of the competitions committee before the relevant play by date.

Failure to meet the above competition conditions will result in both players/teams being removed for the relevant competition
