I feel the need to share some news with you.

On Saturday Steve and I attended the AGM for Hertfordshire Bowls.

At which Steve was presented with Honorary Life Membership to Hertfordshire Bowls.

This is in recognition of his service to the County as Honorary Men’s secretary for the last 3 years, Secretary for the North Division, 10 years and counting, I do believe. Of course our own Secretary and in the past Managing the White Rose Team. All the time playing in the Middleton Cup, Eastern Counties and other prestigious games.

As a sport with a small membership we need people who are passionate about the game and are willing to give their time, Steve is one of those.

I’m sure you would like to join me in congratulating Steve on this achievement and to thank him for his hard work and commitment to this game we all love.
