Because of Covid-19 there have been changes to the information required in that you must now supply contact information in accordance with current Test & Trace requirements with the choice to opt in for Bowls England communications.

In view of this when entering team competitions i.e. Pairs, Triples, Fours & Senior Fours it is now a requirement that you show contact details of all your team members. However, if you need to show A N Other this is acceptable as long as details of the team member are given to the Competition Organiser before the first match takes place.

Also note that should the National Championships &/or National Competitions not take place in 2021 due to Covid 19 a full refund will be offered.

Note the last date for all National Competitions that are entered by means of the Bowls England portal will be 1 March 2021.

I have emailed you all entry forms for next seasons County Competitions for completion, along with a further form in order that you can show details of all your team members. Can you please let me have your completed forms by Sunday 8 November? As for payment you will be aware that competition fees for 2020 have not been refunded, so no payment will be required unless you are entering a different competition from the ones you entered last season. If for some reason you are now no longer entering a competition which you entered in 2020 please let me know and the entry fee will be refunded.

However, County handbooks will need to be purchased at a reduced cost of £3 per person. It was hoped that an addendum could be made to the 2020 handbook, but this has not been possible as all the competitions are having to be redrawn and contact details amended etc.
